The International Conference on Sustainable Innovation in Business and Economics (SIBE) is an
annual academic platform dedicated to advancing research and fostering dialogue on innovation,
sustainability, and resilient economic development.
The SIBE 2026 is co-organized by the Business School at the British University Vietnam (BUV) and
will take place in October 2026 in Vietnam as an in-person conference.
SIBE 2026 aims to serve as an international forum for high-quality research presentations,
keynote discussions, and meaningful engagement between academia and industry, focusing on
sustainable innovation, digital transformation, and economic resilience.

Mr. Dung is Director General of the Department of Legal and International Affairs at the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC). With more than two decades at the SSC, he has been instrumental in aligning Vietnam's capital market with international standards, with expertise in corporate governance, sustainable finance and cross-border regulatory cooperation.
He is an active member of the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and Vietnam's representative on the ASEAN Taxonomy Board (ATB), contributing to the ASEAN Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance. Domestically, he has advanced corporate ESG disclosure in Vietnam and supported the country's engagement with international regulators and index providers, including its reclassification by FTSE Russell to Secondary Emerging Market status, effective September 2026.
Dr. Aishwarya N is associated with the School of Business and Management at CHRIST (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore. With over 14 years of teaching experience, she leverages combined expertise in engineering and management, drawing on her B.Tech in information technology and an MBA, MPhil, and PhD in management. she coordinates the MBA program and the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in the CHRIST, Bannerghatta Road campus. Dr. Aishwarya has Analytics and Information Technology expertise and conducts training programs and workshops on Artificial Intelligence tools, Advanced Excel, JMP software, Gen AI, Prompt Engineering, Machine Learning, Python, Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker), Digital Literacy, and Soft Skills for Business leaders and faculty.
Dr. Aishwarya's research has significantly impacted her field, with over 45 papers published in the databases of Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC CARE-indexed journals. She is a regular presenter at conferences and has authored five books on diverse topics such as Submarine cables, Cybersecurity, and Competency mapping for software professionals, further solidifying her reputation as a thought leader.
Dr. Aishwarya's dedication to education extends beyond the classroom. She has trained over 500+ faculty and 300+ students in AI and digital literacy. She has worked on consultancy projects such as Stove Kraft, Soft Skills Programme for Salem Periyar University students, and the Student Skill Enhancement Project for AICTE. She has developed a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) for CHRIST University and NPTEL-MHRD.
Umberto De Vita currently serves as Marketing Director at Advance Denim, where he leads strategic initiatives across the European and Vietnamese markets, with a strong focus on innovation and sustainable denim development.
With extensive international experience in the denim and textile industry, Umberto has held several senior leadership roles across multiple organisations. Most recently, he was Denim Segment Director at Archroma, working across Singapore, Spain, and Vietnam. Prior to that, he served as Export Manager at Lamberti SpA (Italy) and Dyeing Manager at Italdenim (Italy).
His combined expertise in both production and commercial functions provides him with a comprehensive, global perspective on the denim industry.

The International Conference on Sustainable Innovation in Business and Economics (SIBE 2026) invites original research addressing emerging challenges and opportunities in business and economics in the digital era.
SIBE 2026 provides a platform for research presentations, academic exchange, and collaboration between scholars and industry practitioners, with a focus on sustainable innovation and economic resilience.
All submissions must be made through the Microsoft CMT submission system. For detailed instructions regarding formatting, eligibility, and submission policies, please refer to the full Submission Guidelines.
Each category requires a separate submission.
1. Poster
Suitable for early-stage research, work-in-progress, conceptual papers, or innovative ideas. Accepted posters will be presented during the poster session.
2. Oral Presentation (Abstract Only)
Submit an abstract only if you wish to present at the conference without submitting a full
paper.
3. Full Paper (Publication Consideration)
Full papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process and may be considered for
publication opportunities.
Poster: Abstract up to 250 words describing the research idea and contributions (see template here).
Oral Presentation: Extended abstract (250 - 400 words) outlining the research topic, methodology, and key findings (see template here).
Full Paper:Author names and affiliations must not appear in the manuscript file and should be entered only in the CMT submission system.
